Infertility really makes no sense,
It always feels life’s at our expense.
Wondering, questioning, why me?
Is this simply not meant to be?
Infertility had laid me bare,
Found myself in depths of despair.
Each month a repeat of lasting pain,
Is making a new life not our aim?
Infertility can be so cruel.
There’s never any perfect rule.
Each day, each year, we try problems to resolve,
Hoping one day a new life will evolve.
But our journey is not over, we won’t give up the fight,
We pray that one day soon, a baby will delight.
